Your Tasks

We are looking for a Team Lead who is highly skilled in backend development with a focus on Node.js and TypeScript. As the ideal candidate you should embody a hands-on approach, be pragmatic, and have a strong track record of getting things done efficiently.

What you'll get to do:

• Team Management: Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement. Mentor team members, supporting their professional development and ensuring high standards of performance.
• Technical Leadership: Lead the backend development team, directly engaging in coding and system design. Demonstrate expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and microservices architecture.
• Project Management: Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Utilize excellent technical skills to solve complex problems and improve development practices.
• Innovation and Growth: Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on innovation and growth. Translate business objectives into actionable development plans, contributing to the company's profitability and customer value.
• Communication and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical and business challenges.

Your Qualifications

• Advanced Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Node.js and TypeScript, including best practices and advanced features. Familiarity with other backend technologies and frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with Database Technologies: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including design, optimization, and integration with Node.js applications.
• Microservices Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and understanding of the challenges associated with distributed systems.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
