Junior Operations Manager – Network & Performance (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

The Junior Operations Manager – Network & Performance is responsible mainly for managing and maintaining the operational performance of data-sourcing systems and service providers. This role ensures the smooth onboarding and performance monitoring of our Points Of Interest (Gas-/Wash stations, EV CPs), pricing and other data sources. It involves close collaboration with partners, support and our BI teams to resolve issues and therefore improve customer satisfaction.

You will be extending our ryd operations team, which operates with a collaborative mindset and also holds shared responsibility for fleet and payment performance. This structure encourages knowledge sharing and provides excellent cross-training opportunities.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team player who is excited to start or further develop their career in operations within the mobility and energy sector. You don't need to tick every box , if you are curious, proactive, and willing to learn, we would love to hear from you. 

Your Tasks
  • Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor point of interest availability and track success rates to identify operational trends and performance bottlenecks.
  • Partner Management: Communicate effectively with partner support teams to report and resolve performance issues.
  • Onboarding & Configuration: Handle the end-to-end onboarding of energy stations, ensuring accurate configuration and smooth activation.
  • Data Quality: Perform regular data validation and quality checks to maintain up-to-date records of station status.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Support the monitoring of payment transaction flows and assist with Fleet operational tasks (e.g., B2B customer onboarding) when necessary.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Energy Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • First experience through internships, working student positions, apprenticeships, or up to 2 years of professional experience in operations, energy, mobility, customer support, or partner management is a plus.

  • Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with SQL is beneficial but not required.

  • Strong analytical mindset with an interest in understanding processes and solving operational challenges.

  • Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

  • Enjoy collaborating with different teams and communicating with external partners

  • Fluent in English and German, as most of our partners are based in Germany.
